Jump Festa 2026 On-Site Report: Mirko 2D-Style Ver. Makes a Grand Entrance
On December 20, 2025, Jump Festa 2026 grandly opened at Makuhari Messe. Bellfine unveiled the color prototype of "Mirko Hero Costume 2D-Style Ver." for the first time at the Takara Tomy booth (Hall 3), bringing a surprise for fans of "My Hero Academia".
What is the 2D-Style Ver.?
"2D-Style," also known as "2D painting," is a popular painting technique in the high-end figure world. Through special shading and line drawing, it makes a three-dimensional figure present a flat visual effect as if it has "jumped out" from an anime or manga.
Bellfine has previously released 2D-style works such as Tsuyu Asui and Himiko Toga. Applying this technique to Mirko, who is known for her muscular definition, yields an even more astonishing result.
Color Prototype Detail Appreciation
This Bellfine Mirko 2D-Style Ver. perfectly inherits the advantages of the original version and is elevated once more through its paintwork:
- Dynamic Pose: Adopts Mirko's signature kicking pose, showcasing her personality trait of being "more rabbit-like than a rabbit"
- Enhanced Muscle Definition: The 2D painting uses strong light and shadow contrast to deepen the shading on the thigh and abdominal muscles, intensifying the sense of power and beauty
- Hero Costume Texture: The white hero costume presents a sharp, manga panel-like feel, creating a vivid contrast with the brown skin
Why is this Figure Worth Attention?
Mirko (real name: Rumi Usagiyama) shone brightly in the later major battles of "My Hero Academia," and her indomitable fighting style won over countless fans. This 1/8 scale figure by Bellfine is known for its "extremely high accuracy."
