This story of 'recapture' featuring the new protagonists, the brothers Rose and Ash, began screening in May 2024, and the first act is currently showing. If you're a Geass fan like me, you've probably been screaming in the theater, unable to wait.

The main cast voice actors Mr. Amasaki Kouhei and Ms. Ueda Rena, as well as Director Ohashi Yoshimitsu and Producer Taniguchi Hirojirou, took the stage. This anime will consist of four acts. Five years after the previous work 'Lelouch of the Resurrection,' it is set in the United States of Japan—the former Hokkaido region—and depicts the mercenary brothers Rose and Ash confronting the New Britannian Empire. At the stage greeting, they talked about fun stories from the dubbing sessions, like how Mr. Amasaki, who plays Rose, and Ms. Ueda, who plays Sakura, needed to match their breathing in their performances. They said, 'No matter what, we worked hard in the dubbing sessions to listen to each other's performances and gradually completed the work through mutual coordination.'

There are even more interesting stories and anecdotes, such as during dubbing when Director Ohashi was present, the voice actors would ask 'I won't die next week, will I?' (laughs), which lets us feel that everyone was full of passion and enjoyment while making this work.
