"My Hero Academia" new game will be released at the end of this month
The Super Rumble trailer on Bandai Namco Entertainment's official YouTube channel highlights the game's battle royale-style gameplay, pitting eight teams of three against each other. It also previews many playable characters, including Katsuki Bakugo, Izuku Midoriya, Tsuyu Asui, Mr. Compress, and Dabi. Super Rumble will launch on September 28 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, and on September 29 for PC.
Kohei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia manga has been serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump since July 2014. The series follows Izuku Midoriya—an honest and courageous high school student—as he strives to follow in the footsteps of his idol All Might and become the best superhero. My Hero Academia has achieved far-reaching success; financially, it is one of the best-selling manga of all time, with over 85 million copies in circulation worldwide. In terms of critical recognition, it won Best Manga at the 2017 Sugoi Japan Awards and the 2019 Harvey Awards.

Additionally, Horikoshi's work has spawned a large multimedia franchise, including light novel adaptations, manga spin-offs, related films, stage plays, and of course video game releases. Besides the upcoming Super Rumble, a new game collaboration with the iconic superhero-themed series Fortnite was recently announced. Three new skins inspired by fan-favorite characters Shoto Todoroki, Eijiro Kirishima, and Mina Ashido are now available for purchase in Epic Games' popular battle royale game.
