The new fall anime "The Demon Sword Master of the Holy Sword Academy" will premiere on October 2, 2023, and has released the plot of the first episode and the third version of the trailer.
This anime is co-created by the author of "The Sword Dance of the Spirit User," Shizuru, and the illustrator of "Girls' Air Force," Asagi Tohsaka. The story is set in a future where magic has been lost, depicting a school sword dance fantasy woven by a Demon King who revives as a ten-year-old child a thousand years in the future and beautiful girls. The production company is Passione, responsible for "Higurashi: When They Cry - GOU/SOTSU" and "The Slave Harem in the Labyrinth of the Other World."
■ The first episode is titled "Demon King's Resurrection," describing how in the mythical era, the Demon King of the Undead, Leonis Des Magnus, was cornered in battle against human heroes and, hoping to make a comeback someday, entered a long slumber. Then, 1000 years later, Leonis awakens in an unexpected state and is protected by a girl named Liserlise who came to investigate the ruins. However, they are suddenly attacked by human enemies called the Void. Liserlise's companion Regina resists using an ability unknown to Leonis called the "Holy Sword." In a world where everything has changed, Leonis is forced to make a decision.
To celebrate the start of the anime broadcast, the third PV has been specially released. The third PV centers on the heroine Liserlise, allowing viewers to fully experience the worldview of this work.
