The anime series "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045" will be released in Japanese theaters this November, with the second season being adapted into a theatrical edition. This theatrical edition, titled "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 The Last Human", will premiere on November 23 and will only be screened in theaters for three weeks.
A visual image created by the series' character designer Ilya Kuvshinov has been released, and a trailer has been unveiled featuring one of the upcoming film's theme songs, "Secret Ceremony" by millennium parade, which was originally the opening theme song for the original series.
millennium parade's "No Time to Cast Anchor", which was used as the ending theme song in the anime, will serve as another theme song for the film.

"Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045" is set in 2045 and is part of the popular series that began with Masamune Shirow's 1989 manga "Ghost in the Shell". In a world where the four largest nations are in a state of perpetual war to support their economies, Public Security Section 9 is now a mercenary organization called GHOST. However, after encountering beings known as post-humans, they find themselves returning to their former duties.
This 3DCG anime series premiered on Netflix in 2020 with a total of 12 episodes. The second season followed in 2022. The series is directed by Kenji Kamiyama of "Ghost in the Shell: SAC" and Shinji Aramaki of "Appleseed", and produced by Production I.G and Sola Digital Arts.
"Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 The Last Human" will be released in Japan on November 23, 2023.
