2023 Tokyo Game Show Attracts 243,238 Visitors
The 2023 Tokyo Game Show reported a total of 243,238 physical visitors over four days (September 21st to 24th). This number is nearly double the attendance of last year's exhibition and approaches the 262,076 physical visitors recorded in 2019. The first public day (September 23rd) had the highest number of physical visitors at 96,033, followed by the second public day (September 24th) with 77,390 visitors. The first business day (September 21st) had 33,706 attendees, and the second business day (September 22nd) had 36,109 attendees.

The 2023 Tokyo Game Show was held with the theme "Games in Motion, the World in Revolution." At the physical venue, 787 companies and organizations from 44 countries and regions showcased their latest products. For the online portion, a total of 25 live-streamed programs, including the Japan Game Awards ceremony, could be viewed on the Tokyo Game Show's official YouTube, Twitter, and Twitch accounts, as well as on online platforms such as niconico and the TGS special venue on Steam.
Next year's Tokyo Game Show will be held from September 26th to 29th, with the physical venue once again located at Makuhari Messe.
