The episode opens with a heavy atmosphere. Tamon, plunged into deep self-doubt after missing the center position, is even more withdrawn than his usual "Gloomy-hara" self.

While walking her dog Pochi, the heroine Utage Kinoshita unexpectedly finds herself in front of Tamon's house. What greets her eyes is a horrifying sight—Tamon is standing on the edge of the roof, teetering precariously!

This scene maintains the series' signature exaggerated facial expressions and rapid-fire comedic commentary, instantly transforming the tension into comedy.
