Kaoru Nishimi

Raised in an affluent yet emotionally distant environment, Kaoru channeled his inner world almost entirely through classical piano from a young age. When a transfer to a Kyushu high school unexpectedly brought him under the wing of the free-spirited Sentaro Kawabuchi, the structured world he knew gave way to the spontaneous language of jazz. Within the walls of a dimly lit rehearsal room, his guarded heart gradually thawed, and through the bonds forged in music, the once solitary honor student blossomed into a passionate jazz musician who finally found where he belonged.
