Kon

Kon was once a fledgling divine messenger still undergoing training under Uka-no-Mitama-no-Kami, until an accidental fall into a river changed everything. Rescued by the young girl Inari Fushimi, Kon chose to repay this life-saving kindness by becoming her dedicated guardian spirit, guiding Inari as she struggled to understand the mysterious divine powers she had suddenly awakened. Normally taking the form of a palm-sized fox that can be easily concealed, Kon does possess the ability to transform into a human girl, though early on had difficulty fully hiding telltale fox ears and tails. Straightforward and full of spirit, Kon is always the first to step forward with wholehearted encouragement whenever Inari finds herself lost in doubt or overwhelmed by her own abilities.
