Once the unchallenged leader of the freelance insect-slaying organization Mushigari, Mugai eventually found himself operating under the official banner of the Edo Bug Magistrate, where he quickly established himself as the unrivaled apex warrior of the patrol corps. Wielding an enormous, otherworldly blade called the Jingaito, he dismantles colossal insects with overwhelming, almost effortless force.
