Takako Chino is a classmate of Naho's who carries herself with a cool and composed air that might initially come across as distant or aloof. Beneath that composed exterior, however, lies someone who genuinely cares for the people around her and would go to great lengths to stand up for them. She speaks her mind without hesitation — a quality that truly shone when she stepped forward without a second thought to defend Naho against an older student who was giving her trouble. Her straightforward nature makes her someone the group can always rely on when words need to be said. A decade later, she trades her long hair for a short cut, reflecting the growth and change she has undergone over the years. Together with her friends, she plays her part in guiding Naho and Kakeru toward each other.
