Yui Akamatsu

Yui is the red-coded leader of COLORS, a group she herself founded with the noble mission of protecting the peace of Ueno. She built the team's secret base with her own hands, where she also looks after the group's beloved cat, Colonel Monochrome. Despite holding the title of leader, Yui is quite the crybaby and has little to no athletic ability. Compared to Saki and Kotoha, she is notably more well-mannered and sincere — which unfortunately makes her the prime target of their pranks. She also has a striking weakness when it comes to comebacks. Yui attends a different school from the other two, Yukado Elementary School in Taito, Tokyo, where her closest friends are Hirai and Tadokoro. She is undeniably the most "normal" of the three. Though she carries a natural airhead quality — capable of dropping surprisingly outrageous remarks with a perfectly innocent smile — she is entirely unaware of it. Originally addressed as "Akamatsu-san" by her classmates, it was Saki who started calling her simply "Yui."
