Botan visits the Chichibu Moss Phlox Festival with her fellow dorm mates, but before she knows it, the dorm leader, Ibuki, is nowhere to be found. While the others look on with exasperation as if it were a common occurrence, Botan runs off to look for Ibuki. She finally finds Ibuki sitting alone on a bench, gulping down a highball. Enticed by Ibuki, Botan takes her very first sip of alcohol.

Kanade, searching for "alcohol that Ibuki might drink with her," invites Botan to visit a liquor store. There, Botan is drawn to a liquor named after lilies and tries shochu for the first time. Will Kanade's wish to drink with Ibuki finally come true? As the weather gets warmer, Botan and Ibuki decide to go out and buy clothes. The place Ibuki leads her to turns out to be a clothing store where you can drink alcohol...?

Meanwhile, Ibuki, who has always been particular about "drinking alone," experiences a change of heart...

While heading for the observation spot, Botan and Ibuki slip away from the group to stroll through the shrine grounds and find a matchmaking spot where it's said that offering papers with each other's names written on them will bind you together. Seeking escape from the sweltering heat of the rainy season, Botan, Ibuki, and Yaeka visit Kawagoe. After strolling through the Taisho modern-style streets, the three visit a footbath.

Botan pushes open the heavy door and steps into a bar for the first time in her life, accompanied by Ibuki. Though nervous about the bar's atmosphere, she is moved by the freedom of alcohol and discovers new ways to enjoy it. Meanwhile, as Ibuki drinks, she finds herself recalling bitter memories. Kanade invited Ibuki for a drive over the weekend, but she finds herself unable to hand over the homemade strawberry whiskey she made as a birthday present...

After getting closer while navigating the dark and narrow cave, the three take a break at a cafe with some shaved ice. Jinglan, who loves alcohol, invites the two out for a drink. Although Ibuki, who has always insisted on "drinking alone," hesitates, she eventually accepts the proposal.

Amidst the grand nature where sunlight filters through the trees, an elderly woman with a troubled expression appears before Ibuki, who is starting to feel tired and doesn't quite understand the appeal of mountain climbing. Botan and Ibuki visit a planetarium and decide to kill time on a bench by the river until showtime. While drinking space-themed beer, Botan gazes at Ibuki and conveys a certain feeling.
