Account & Registration

Common questions about creating an ANIHK account, logging in, resetting your password, and deleting your account.

How do I create an ANIHK account?

Click the Login button at the top right of the site, then choose Register. Enter your email and password, and we'll send a verification email to your inbox.

Click the verification link in the email, and you'll be able to log in and access all of ANIHK's basic features (browse anime, forum, news, purchase coins, etc.).

What if I don't receive the verification email?

First, check your Spam / Junk folder. Some email providers (like Gmail and Outlook) categorize automated emails as spam.

If you still don't see it, click Resend Verification Email on the login page, or write to contact@anihk.com and we'll help.

How do I reset my password?

On the login page, click Forgot Password and enter your registered email. We'll send a reset link to your inbox.

The reset link is valid for 1 hour. If it expires, please request a new one.

How do I change my email or display name?

After logging in, go to Account Settings → Profile to change your display name, avatar, bio, and other public information.

To change your primary email address, you must verify the new email under Account Settings → Security.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Account Settings → Security → Delete Account and follow the instructions to permanently delete your account.

Note: Once deleted, your coin balance, order history, creator earnings, and all other data are unrecoverable. If you have outstanding balances or active orders, please resolve them before deleting.

Commissions (For Buyers)

What does the ANIHK commission marketplace offer?

The ANIHK commission marketplace is where buyers and creators connect directly. You can commission character illustrations, avatars, sticker sets, comics, Live2D rigs, 3D models, and other ACG-related artwork.

All commissions go through the platform with payment held in escrow, protecting both parties.

How do I find the right creator?

Visit the Commission Marketplace and filter by category, price, style, usage license, or market (personal vs. commercial). You can also browse the Creator List to see each creator's portfolio and reviews.

Before placing an order, please read the creator's commission rules, revision limits, and delivery timeframes to avoid disputes later.

How long does it take for a creator to respond?

Creators review your request within a reasonable time and decide to accept or decline. Actual response times vary by creator, but most reply within 1–3 days.

If there's no response after 7 days, you can cancel the request (with no fee) and try another creator.

How long do I have to pay after a creator accepts my request?

Once accepted, you have 7 days to complete payment. Unpaid orders are automatically cancelled after the deadline. You can also cancel at any time before paying — there's no fee.

What do I receive when the commission is finished?

The creator uploads a watermarked preview at each delivery stage for your review. Once all stages are approved, the creator unlocks the full high-resolution files.

You can download the original files from the order page and chat with the creator anytime through the order chat.

Who can become an ANIHK creator?

Any user with an ANIHK account can apply to become a creator. We welcome all kinds of ACG creators: illustrators, comic artists, Live2D animators, 3D modelers, voice actors, and more.

When applying, you'll need to provide basic personal information and a few work samples. The platform reviews applications within 1–3 business days.

How do I become a creator?

After logging in, click your avatar at the top right and choose Creator Center. On the creator settings page, fill in your display name, bio, work categories, and social links, and upload some sample work.

Submit your application and wait for review. Once approved, you can start listing commissions and accepting orders.

Do creators need to pay a security deposit?

No upfront payment is required. New creators can start with zero cost.

The security deposit fills up automatically — 2% of each completed order goes into your deposit until it reaches HK$ 200, after which it stops. See the "Security Deposit & Penalties" section for details.

Can creators list multiple commission types at once?

Yes. Creators can create multiple commission types (e.g., avatars, half-body, full-body, chibi) and configure independent pricing, delivery stages, revision limits, and add-ons for each one.

Can I pause taking orders?

Yes. In Creator Center, you can switch your personal commission status at any time:

• Open: accepting new commissions normally.

• Waitlisted: slots full but accepting waitlist requests.

• Closed: not accepting any new commissions.

Individual listings can also be set to Paused, which keeps existing orders running but stops new orders.

Money & Payments

Payment Methods

ANIHK supports multiple payment methods so you can pick what works best for you. All payments are protected by platform escrow.

What payment methods does ANIHK accept?

1. Platform Coins (recommended): instant payment, creator starts work immediately. 10 coins = HK$ 1.

2. Bank transfer: FPS and PayMe supported. Requires uploading a payment screenshot for manual admin verification.

3. Credit card / Visa / Mastercard: processed through Airwallex, primarily used for topping up coins.

Why is paying with coins recommended?

The biggest advantage of coin payment is instant confirmation — once you pay, the order moves to In Progress and the creator can start immediately.

Bank transfer requires uploading a payment screenshot and waiting for manual admin verification, which usually takes a few hours to one business day. If you want to start quickly, top up coins first.

What do I do after paying via FPS / PayMe?

After completing the transfer, upload your payment screenshot (showing the transfer time, amount, and recipient account) to the order page.

Admin will verify and activate your order within 1 business day. If it's still inactive after 24 hours, please write to contact@anihk.com with your order number.

Are credit card payments secure?

ANIHK processes all credit card payments through Airwallex, a licensed payment provider. Your card number is never stored on ANIHK's servers, and all transactions use industry-standard encryption.

What happens if a payment fails?

Credit card failures show an error message immediately, and you can retry or choose another payment method. Common causes: insufficient balance, 3D Secure verification failed, issuing bank declined.

Coin System

ANIHK Coins are the platform's virtual currency, used for commission payments and tipping creators. The exchange rate is 10 coins = HK$ 1.

What's the coin exchange rate?

10 coins = HK$ 1. Example: a HK$ 500 commission = 5,000 coins.

Coins are not for investment — they're purely an internal settlement unit on the platform.

How do I top up coins?

Go to Coins → Top Up, choose a coin pack, and pay with credit card / Visa / Mastercard.

Larger packs include bonus coins — see the top-up page for the actual ratios.

What can I do with coins?

• Pay for commissions: instant settlement, no admin verification needed.

• Tip creators: tip from a creator's profile, commission page, or forum post.

• Receive refunds: cancelled orders are refunded as coins, which you can use for the next commission.

Do coins expire?

Currently, ANIHK coins do not expire. You can keep them in your account indefinitely.

If this policy ever changes, we'll notify you at least 30 days in advance via email and on-site announcement.

Can I cash coins back to HKD?

Yes. You can convert coins back to HKD via withdrawal request and have the money sent to your bank account.

Withdrawals incur a 3.5% processing fee (covers third-party payment costs). Minimum withdrawal: HK$ 100. Processing time: 3–5 business days.

Pro Membership

Upgrading to Pro unlocks a much lower platform fee. Recommended for active creators.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Free Member: 15% platform fee, HK$ 0 annual cost.

Pro Member: 7% platform fee, HK$ 100/month.

Both tiers have access to all creator features. The only difference is the platform fee rate.

When should I upgrade to Pro?

Quick math: if your monthly commission revenue exceeds HK$ 1,250, upgrading to Pro saves you the fee difference (15% − 7% = 8%).

Example: HK$ 1,250 × 8% = HK$ 100/month, exactly offsetting the membership cost. Every order above this threshold earns you 8% more.

How do I upgrade to Pro?

Go to Creator Center → Membership, choose the Pro plan, and pay with credit card. The upgrade takes effect immediately.

Payment is handled by Airwallex — secure and reliable.

Can I cancel Pro anytime?

Yes. You can cancel auto-renewal anytime from the membership page. After cancellation, your Pro status remains active until the end of the current billing cycle, with the 7% fee still applied.

You won't be charged for the next cycle. You can re-subscribe whenever you want.

Does Pro take effect immediately after upgrade?

Yes. After successful payment, all subsequent orders are calculated at the 7% fee rate. Already-completed orders are not retroactively adjusted.

Withdrawals

Once a creator completes an order, the funds enter their wallet. When the balance reaches the withdrawal threshold, you can request a transfer to your bank account.

What's the minimum withdrawal amount?

Minimum withdrawal: HK$ 100. Balances below this stay in your wallet for the next withdrawal or to offset future order-related fees.

How long does a withdrawal take?

Processing time: 3–5 business days.

All withdrawal requests are reviewed and processed manually by admin to ensure fund safety. Weekends and public holidays don't count.

Are there withdrawal fees?

HKD bank transfer: 0% fee.

If you're converting coins back to cash (rather than withdrawing creator earnings), a 3.5% processing fee applies to cover third-party payment costs.

What information do I need for a withdrawal?

First-time withdrawals require: bank name, account name (must match your registered name), account number, and bank code.

This information is saved in your account, so subsequent withdrawals don't need re-entry.

Why does my wallet show a Pending balance?

Pending represents funds from in-progress orders, held in platform escrow. When the order is completed and confirmed by the buyer (or auto-completed after 14 days), the funds move from Pending to Available Balance.

Orders & Delivery

Orders & Milestones

ANIHK uses milestone-based delivery — creators submit work in stages, and clients approve each stage so both parties stay in sync on progress.

What are milestones?

Milestones are the delivery stages a creator defines in advance. A common setup is Sketch → Lineart → Color → Final.

At each stage the creator uploads a watermarked preview, and the client must approve before moving to the next stage. This prevents finishing an entire piece only to discover the direction was wrong.

Why do preview images have watermarks?

To protect the creator's copyright. Any unfinished or unapproved deliverable must include a watermark. The original, watermark-free files are only unlocked after the order is fully completed.

How many revisions can I (the client) request?

Revision limits are set by the creator when they list a commission and may differ across listings. A common limit is 1–3 revisions per stage.

If the creator sets it to 0, that means unlimited revisions. Please confirm this before placing an order.

Can creators skip stages?

Yes. Creators can jump ahead to a later stage at any time, and the skipped stages are automatically marked as Skipped. This is especially useful when the client doesn't need to see the rough sketch and wants to start from lineart.

Can I (the client) early-complete an order?

Yes. If you're already happy with what's been delivered and don't need the remaining stages, click Early Complete on the order page.

The condition is that at least one milestone has been approved. Remaining stages get marked as Skipped, and the creator immediately receives the full payout.

What do I need to do after all stages are finished?

Once the order enters Pending Completion, you have 14 days to review the final result. If everything looks good, click "Complete Order".

If you don't act within 14 days, the system auto-completes the order and pays the creator. If there's an issue, please file a dispute within those 14 days.

Tipping

ANIHK supports tipping so you can use coins to support your favorite creators without going through a formal commission process.

What is tipping?

Tipping is an informal way to support a creator with a small amount. You can tip from a creator's profile, commission page, forum post, or article using coins.

Unlike commissions, tips have no deliverables — they're purely a way to express thanks or support.

Are there platform fees on tips?

Yes. Tip fees match commission fees:

• Free creators: platform takes 15% on received tips.

• Pro creators: platform takes 7% on received tips.

Example: tipping 100 coins to a free creator means the creator actually receives 85 coins.

What's the minimum tip amount?

Tips usually have preset amounts (e.g., 50, 100, 500, 1000 coins), and you can also enter a custom amount. See the tip button for the actual range.

Can tips be refunded?

Tips cannot be refunded once sent. Please double-check the amount before tipping.

If you accidentally send the wrong amount or to the wrong recipient, write to contact@anihk.com and we'll review your case.

Trust & Safety

Refunds & Cancellations

Refunds are issued as coins by default (10 coins = HK$ 1). Cancellation rules depend on the order's stage.

Why are refunds issued as coins?

Credit card processing fees (~3.5%) are non-refundable by the payment processor — even if we return the funds to the original card, this fee is lost.

Issuing the refund as coins keeps the full amount in your account, ready for your next commission, tip, or cash withdrawal (with a 3.5% processing fee).

Can I cancel an unpaid order?

Yes, with no fee. You can cancel any time in these states:

• Pending creator review (pending_review)

• Awaiting payment (awaiting_payment)

Can I get a refund if I've paid but the creator hasn't started?

Yes. As long as no milestones have been delivered, you can cancel for a 95% coin refund (the 5% covers admin overhead).

If the creator initiates the cancellation (rather than you), you receive 100% refund and the creator pays a 5% penalty.

Can I get a refund if the creator has already delivered some stages?

You can't cancel directly. You must file a dispute for platform mediation. Admin will review the work delivered, the chat history, and decide a fair split.

If the creator abandons the order at this stage, they pay a 15% penalty (higher because work was delivered).

Can I cancel after all stages are delivered?

No. Once all stages are delivered, you have only two options:

1. Complete the order: funds are released to the creator.

2. File a dispute: if you believe there's a quality issue, you can dispute within 14 days.

If you don't act within 14 days, the system auto-completes the order.

Disputes

If problems arise during a commission, you can file a dispute and have the ANIHK platform mediate. The dispute system is designed to be fair, transparent, and protective of both parties.

Who can open a dispute?

Both clients and creators can open disputes, as long as the order is in one of these states:

• In Progress (in_progress)

• Pending Completion (pending_completion)

Unpaid or completed orders cannot be disputed.

What happens when a dispute is opened?

1. The order status changes to Disputed, and neither party can cancel directly.

2. The system records the pre-dispute order status (pre_dispute_status).

3. Platform admin reviews the chat history, delivered work, and both sides' statements.

4. Admin issues a ruling based on the evidence.

Can I withdraw my dispute?

Yes. The party that opened the dispute can withdraw it at any time before admin issues a ruling. Withdrawal returns the order to its pre-dispute state, and both parties can continue normally.

If you opened a dispute by mistake or have privately resolved the issue with the other party, please withdraw it as soon as possible.

What are the possible dispute outcomes?

1. Full refund (resolved_refund): client receives 100% coin refund, creator pays a 10% penalty.

2. Full payout (resolved_payout): creator receives full payment, no refund.

3. Split resolution (resolved_split): admin sets specific refund and payout amounts.

4. Dismissed (dismissed): the dispute is invalid, order returns to its pre-dispute state.

What evidence does admin consider?

Admin considers the following:

• Chat history in the order page

• Delivered milestone work from the creator

• The client's original commission requirements and revision requests

• Both sides' statements in the dispute filing

To protect yourself, please conduct all communication through the platform's chat feature, not external messaging apps.

Security Deposit & Penalties

ANIHK uses a unique no-upfront-cost security deposit system — creators don't pay anything in advance. The deposit fills up automatically from completed orders.

Do creators have to pay a security deposit?

No upfront payment is required. New creators can start with zero cost.

2% of each completed order automatically goes into your security deposit until it reaches the HK$ 200 target. After that, no further deductions. This 2% comes from the platform fee — you don't feel any extra deduction from your payout.

What is the security deposit used for?

It's a backup fund used in these situations:

• When a creator cancels a paid order and owes a penalty.

• When a dispute ruling goes against the creator and they owe a refund.

• When the creator's wallet balance is insufficient to cover the above.

It is not "frozen money" — when you leave the platform with no unresolved issues, the full deposit is refunded.

How are penalties calculated?

Creator cancels paid order, no work delivered: 5% of order value.

Creator cancels paid order, work already delivered: 15% of order value.

Dispute resolved against the creator: 10% of order value.

Where are penalties deducted from?

Penalties are pulled in this order:

1. Creator wallet balance (balance_hkd)

2. Creator security deposit (if wallet is insufficient)

3. Outstanding debt (if deposit is also insufficient)

Outstanding debt is recorded against the creator's account and can be repaid automatically from future order earnings.

When does the platform restrict me from accepting orders?

The only condition: outstanding debt exceeds HK$ 100.

Below that threshold, you can take orders normally regardless of cancellation rate or dispute history.

When you complete a new order, the system automatically uses 5% of the payout to repay your debt. Once debt drops to HK$ 100 or below, the restriction lifts automatically.

Privacy & Account Security

ANIHK takes your personal data and account security seriously. For full terms see the Privacy Policy.

What data does ANIHK collect?

We collect three main categories:

• Account data: email, password (encrypted), display name, avatar.

• Usage data: pages you browse, content you interact with, login records (used to improve service).

• Transaction data: payment records, order data, withdrawal requests (for tax and AML compliance).

We do not store your credit card number — all card processing is handled by Airwallex.

Is my personal data shared with third parties?

ANIHK does not sell or rent your personal data to any third party.

We share necessary information with third parties in these cases:

• Sharing payment data with our payment processor (Airwallex) to complete transactions.

• Providing information to law enforcement when required by Hong Kong SAR law.

• Sharing order-related information between the buyer and creator on a commission.

How can I improve my account security?

• Use a strong password (12+ characters with mixed case, numbers, and symbols).

• Don't reuse the same password across different sites.

• Regularly check Account Settings → Security → Login History for suspicious logins.

• Don't share your account with others.

• If you receive a suspicious email claiming to be from ANIHK, verify the sender domain is @anihk.com.

What should I do if I notice suspicious activity?

If you see any unauthorized login, payment, or action on your account, immediately:

1. Change your password.

2. Email contact@anihk.com with the details, screenshots, and any relevant order numbers.

We will respond within 1 business day and help you resolve the issue.

Reporting Violations

ANIHK is committed to a friendly and safe community. If you find inappropriate content or rule violations, please report them.

What kinds of content can I report?

• Commissions that violate the Terms of Service (illegal, infringing, or unauthorized copyrighted characters).

• Misbehaving users (harassment, fraud, fake reviews, etc.).

• Forum posts that break the rules (hate speech, ads, spam).

• Creators who plagiarize or use others' portfolios as their own.

How do I file a report?

Reports are currently handled via email. Send a message to contact@anihk.com with the subject prefixed [Report] and include:

• What you're reporting (username, order number, post link)

• The reason

• Supporting evidence (screenshots, chat logs, etc.)

• What action you'd like us to take

What happens after I file a report?

We review reports within 1–3 business days. Depending on severity, possible actions include:

• Removing offending content

• Warning the user involved

• Suspending or permanently banning the account

• Refunding affected users

We notify the reporter of the outcome by email (some details may be omitted for privacy reasons).

Are reports anonymous?

Yes. We do not disclose the reporter's identity to the reported party. Please report freely.

Sole exception: if law enforcement is involved, we may be legally required to provide relevant information.

Can I report the other party in my own order?

If you have a disagreement with the other party in your order (buyer or creator), the recommended path is to file a dispute (see the "Disputes" section) for formal platform mediation.

If the other party is engaged in serious misconduct (threats, harassment, fraud), please also report by email.

To help us help you faster, please include the following whenever possible:

• Your username or registered email (so we can find your account)

• Relevant order number (if any)

• A detailed description of the issue and when it happened

• Relevant screenshots or error messages

Where do business / press / advertising inquiries go?

Email contact@anihk.com with the subject prefixed [Business] and a brief description of your proposal. Our business team responds within 3–5 business days.

Who operates ANIHK?

ANIHK is operated by AIVOICE LIMITED, a Hong Kong–registered company. All platform services, financial transactions, and user data are the responsibility of this company.
