Flower and Asura

Flower and Asura is a modern school drama anime blending slice-of-life storytelling with emotionally rich shoujo sensibilities, adapted from the manga by Takeda Ayano. Set on the tranquil island of Tonakijima, home to just 600 residents, Flower and Asura follows Hana Haruyama, a young woman whose greatest joy is reading literature aloud to the local children. This rare talent catches the eye of Mizuki Usurai, the driven president of the school's broadcasting club, who sees in Hana something truly extraordinary. Extending an invitation to join the club, Mizuki sets in motion a new chapter in Hana's life.
