Set in the early 21st century during an autumn in the Uchihama district, the story unfolds at Uchihama Academy, a school in the midst of rapid expansion. As a brand-new school building takes shape, the beloved old building is scheduled for closure—but not before hosting one final General Club Festival. Students across campus are determined to send off the historic building in unforgettable style. At the center of the story is Sou Akiyama, a member of the Astronomy Club, which happens to be home to some of the school's most prominent figures. As the October 1st festival approaches, the student executive committee turns to the club with an unusual request: strange rumors have been swirling around the old building—ghost sightings, unexplained accidents, and a mysterious sleeping sickness that has left many uneasy. Around the same time, a soft-spoken late transfer student named Yui Furukawa crosses paths with Sou, and something imperceptible begins to shift.
