Plot
Welcome to Maigahara Senior High — affectionately known as "MaiMai" — an elite music academy that attracts the most gifted young musicians from across the country. Beneath its prestigious reputation, however, an intriguing rumor begins to spread among students: pull off an impressive performance at the school festival, and you just might earn yourself a coveted extra credit. For Serina Akesaka, who is teetering dangerously close to failing out, this rumor sounds less like gossip and more like a lifeline. Determined to make it work, she sets out to form a band from scratch. Soon, Aliciana Ogata, Nazuna Tennouzu, Nagi Kobotoke, and Naru Hakobe find themselves drawn into her plan. Together, these five girls fill their days with music, laughter, late-night sleepovers, and even the occasional cosplay adventure. This is a warm, easygoing slice-of-life story about an unlikely band of friends finding their rhythm — both on and off the stage.
