Summary

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? III is a TV anime adaptation of the beloved light novel series by Fujino Omori, produced by J.C.STAFF under the direction of Hideki Tachibana with series composition by Hideki Shirane. This third season plunges Bell Cranel into a perilous new chapter as he encounters the mysterious Wiene, raising profound questions about the line between monsters and mankind. Blending action, fantasy, and romance, the season reunites fan-favorite characters including Hestia, Ais Wallenstein, and Ryuu Lion in a story that pushes the boundaries of the Dungeon world like never before.

Plot

The third season of Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka returns to the city of Orario, where gods and mortals live side by side and the treacherous Dungeon lurks beneath the streets. Bell Cranel, a young adventurer under the goddess Hestia's Familia, spends his days pushing deeper into the labyrinth alongside his trusted companions. During one such expedition, he crosses paths with a small, trembling girl named Wiene, cowering alone in the darkness of the Dungeon. True to his nature, Bell Cranel reaches out to her without hesitation. Yet this seemingly ordinary act of compassion opens a door to questions that shake the very foundations of the world he knows—questions about what it truly means to be a monster, and whether the line between creature and human is as absolute as everyone believes.
