JUJUTSU KAISEN

JUJUTSU KAISEN is an action, supernatural, and drama TV anime produced by MAPPA, based on the manga by Gege Akutami. Set in a world plagued by cursed spirits, the series follows Yuuji Itadori as he joins the ranks of jujutsu sorcerers alongside Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki, under the guidance of the legendary Satoru Gojou. Directed by Sunghoo Park with series composition by Hiroshi Seko, the anime delivers visceral animation and emotionally charged storytelling, pitting its heroes against formidable threats like Sukuna and Mahito in a dark, high-stakes supernatural world.

In a world where the darkest corners of human emotion take on a life of their own, feelings like anguish, regret, and humiliation manifest as malevolent beings known as Curses. These supernatural entities haunt the everyday world, bringing misfortune and death to ordinary people — and the only force capable of destroying a Curse is another Curse. Yuuji Itadori appears to be nothing more than an exceptionally athletic high school student living a normal life. However, everything changes when he makes a fateful decision to protect someone dear to him: he consumes a finger belonging to Sukuna, a legendary and fearsome Cursed Spirit, binding their existences together within a single body. Recognized by the most powerful sorcerer alive, Satoru Gojou, Yuuji is enrolled in the Tokyo Jujutsu High, an institution dedicated to combating the Curse threat.
