Introduction / Synopsis

Summary

Kaguya-sama: Love is War -Ultra Romantic- is a TV romantic comedy anime adapted from the hit manga by Aka Akasaka. At the prestigious Shuchiin Academy student council, Kaguya Shinomiya and Miyuki Shirogane are hopelessly in love—yet both are too proud to confess first. What unfolds is a brilliantly absurd battle of psychological wit, where every scheme and counter-scheme brings them closer to the edge of romance. Joined by the irrepressible Chika Fujiwara, the brooding Yuu Ishigami, and the principled Miko Iino, this season delivers the series' most emotionally charged and hilarious moments yet. Produced by A-1 Pictures under director Shinichi Omata and series composition by Yasuhiro Nakanishi, -Ultra Romantic- is the ultimate destination for fans of sharp comedy and heartfelt romance.

Plot

Shuchiin Academy stands as one of the most prestigious schools in the country, home to students of exceptional talent and pedigree. At the heart of campus life is the student council, led by the seemingly flawless president Miyuki Shirogane. Alongside him serves vice-president Kaguya Shinomiya, heiress to one of the nation's most powerful families, whose composed and guarded exterior conceals a far more complicated inner world. Though the two share undeniable feelings for one another, neither is willing to make the first move—instead, each devises elaborate schemes to maneuver the other into a confession. Elsewhere in the council, treasurer Yuu Ishigami quietly navigates his own personal struggles, while the newly appointed Miko Iino brings her rigid sense of justice into an environment full of colorful personalities. Together, this unlikely group turns even the most ordinary school days into a battleground of wit, pride, and unspoken feelings.
