Nisekoi

Nisekoi is a TV romantic comedy anime produced by Shaft and directed by Naoyuki Tatsuwa, based on the manga by Naoshi Komi. When yakuza heir Raku Ichijou is forced into a fake relationship with Chitoge Kirisaki to keep the peace between their rival families, things get complicated as childhood sweetheart Kosaki Onodera and the determined Marika Tachibana enter the picture. Set in modern-day Japan, Nisekoi follows Raku Ichijou, a high school student who harbors a quiet wish to reunite with a girl from his childhood. But Raku's everyday life is far from ordinary—his family runs the powerful Shuei-Gumi yakuza faction, and gang politics have a way of spilling into his school days. When a fiery girl named Chitoge Kirisaki transfers into his class, the clash between their families forces the two into an unexpected arrangement: pretending to be a couple to keep the peace between rival gangs. As Raku reluctantly navigates this fake romance with someone he can barely stand, he soon learns that Chitoge isn't the only one carrying a mysterious key—Kosaki Onodera and Marika Tachibana each possess one as well. With multiple keys and a forgotten promise at the center of it all, Raku finds himself tangled in a web of complicated feelings and unanswered questions.
