"When I see 'two people in love,' I feel like breaking them apart." Having lived a life on rails under her strict father, Mami was even forced into a sudden breakup during high school by him. Mami reflects on her past calmly and alone. She then confronts Chizuru, who continues her fake relationship with Kazuya, and pressures her to tell Nagomi the truth.

"I got dumped..." Kazuya, in a state of daze, heads to the pool after receiving a call from Ruka. He joins Kibe and the others, forcing himself to act cheerful while telling himself that he's simply returning to a life without Chizuru. Then, Chizuru arrives late. As Chizuru continues to play the "girlfriend" as usual, she also keeps her interaction with Mami a secret from Kazuya—.

Mami drops her smartphone, and displayed on it is Chizuru's "Rental Girlfriend" page. In front of Nagomi, the family, and friends, the secret is finally revealed! Everyone freezes. Furthermore, Kazuo confesses that he had witnessed money being exchanged between Kazuya and Chizuru in the past, making the situation take a turn for the worst. "I tried to stop them so many times!!" After being estranged since their trip to Fukushima, Kazuya finally manages to secure a rental date with Chizuru for the first time in three months. Filled with anxiety and loneliness over leaving the apartment and having fewer chances to see Chizuru, he tearfully pours out his feelings for her. Seeing him like this, Mini sends a photo of the drunken Kazuya to Chizuru. The next moment, Mini is shocked when she sees Chizuru's reply. "Can I come too?"

Chizuru joins the group, and the drinking party of three at the izakaya proceeds. To Chizuru, who admitted her "loneliness without Kazuya," Mini immediately makes a suggestion. "Then, how about the two of you live together?" Kazuya and the others are shaken by this wild proposal.
