Introduction / Synopsis

Summary

Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It is a romantic comedy ONA adapted from the manga by Yamamoto Arifuredo. When brilliant researcher Ayame Himuro confesses her feelings to fellow scientist Shinya Yukimura, the two decide the only logical course of action is to scientifically verify whether love truly exists—launching a hilariously charming series of experiments. This fresh blend of academic wit and heartfelt romance sets it apart from the crowd. Produced by Zero-G under the direction of Toru Kitahata, with series composition by Michiko Yokote, this is a must-watch for fans of smart, sweet storytelling.

Plot

What if love could be explained through scientific theory? This romantic comedy takes place in an academic setting where logic and data reign supreme. Shinya Yukimura is a dedicated scientist who approaches every problem with methodical precision, while Ayame Himuro is his equally brilliant and rational colleague. Both are deeply committed to their research and believe that any phenomenon in the world can ultimately be understood through science. Yet when it comes to the curious feelings stirring between them, even their sharpest analytical minds seem to fall short. Rather than simply letting emotions run their course, these two researchers decide to tackle the matter head-on — applying scientific thinking to unravel the mysteries of love itself. With notebooks in hand and hypotheses at the ready, they embark on an unconventional journey to determine whether romance can truly be measured, tested, and proven. A charming and witty series that blends heartfelt emotion with nerdy humor.
