In a world shaped by ancient legend, a terrifying entity known as Satan Rchimedes once commanded legions of demons to plunge humanity into chaos and despair. A great hero rose to meet the threat, sealing Satan away and ushering in a millennium of peace. But that era of tranquility is shattered when enormous chasms tear open across the land, unleashing demons once more upon the unsuspecting world. Convinced that the ancient seal has broken, the king Ou-sama issues a royal decree: whoever defeats Satan shall be crowned the "true hero" and rewarded beyond measure. Among the candidates summoned is Alba Frühling, a young man who claims heroic lineage, paired with his battle-hardened attendant Ross.
