Synduality Noir Part 2 is a dark, mecha-driven sci-fi anime adapted from the cross-media project conceived by Kamo Shida Hajime. Produced by 8-bit under the direction of Yusuke Yamamoto, with series composition by Aoshima Takashi, the series centers on Noir, Ciel, Kanata, and Mystere as they navigate a world steeped in tragedy and relentless action. Building on the foundation of its first cour, this second installment continues to deliver the signature blend of mecha spectacle and grim science fiction that defines the franchise.

Synduality Noir Part 2 continues the journey of Kanata, a young Drifter navigating a perilous world where humans rely on AI companions known as magi to survive. Following the events of the first cour, Kanata finds himself alongside a changed companion—the formerly amnesiac magus Noir has partially regained her memories, causing her to resurface under a different persona called Mystere, who carries herself with a distinctly aloof attitude toward Kanata. A new destination emerges: Histoire, a legendary city shrouded in mystery, which Mystere recalls from fragments of her past. Kanata sets off toward this enigmatic place together with his childhood friend Ellie and the magus diva Ciel, but a powerful and hostile faction known as Ideal stands in their way. Elsewhere, Tokio ventures out alone from Rock Town, driven by unresolved questions from his own history. With danger closing in from multiple directions, Kanata must press forward to pursue his dream while confronting unsettling truths about the world around him.
