Introduction / Synopsis

Summary

Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! is a TV anime produced by ENGI, based on the manga by Take. Blending Comedy, Ecchi, Romance, and Slice of Life, the series follows the energetic and boisterous Hana Uzaki as she relentlessly drags her reserved upperclassman Shinichi Sakurai into all kinds of fun, sparking an undeniable yet hilariously awkward chemistry between them. Directed by Kazuya Miura with series composition by Takashi Aoshima, the anime faithfully captures the original manga's playful humor and slow-burn romance. Whether you're a fan of lighthearted daily-life comedies or charming romantic tension, this series delivers an irresistibly entertaining watch from start to finish.

Plot

Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! is a lighthearted romantic comedy set against the backdrop of everyday college life. Shinichi Sakurai is a reserved and self-sufficient university student who values his personal space above all else—his ideal day involves solitude, silence, and absolutely no interruptions. That carefully guarded routine gets turned upside down when Hana Uzaki, his energetic and cheerful underclassman, decides she simply cannot let him spend another moment alone. Bursting with enthusiasm and an unstoppable desire to tease him at every opportunity, Hana makes it her personal mission to drag Sakurai out of his comfort zone. Whether he likes it or not, she is determined to fill his days with company and laughter. The series follows their mismatched dynamic as these two very different personalities navigate the fine line between friendly bickering and something that might just be a little more than that.
