You and I Are Polar Opposites is a modern school-life romantic comedy anime blending slice-of-life warmth with lighthearted humor, adapted from the manga by Aga Kozue. Produced by Lapin Track under the direction of Kyohei Ishiguro, with series composition by Teruko Utsumi, the series centers on Miyu Suzuki and Yuusuke Tani in a feel-good, healing campus setting.

You and I Are Polar Opposites follows Miyu Suzuki, a bubbly and sociable high school girl who cares deeply about fitting in with those around her. When she finds herself developing feelings for her classmate Yuusuke Tani, she quickly realizes just how different they are. Unlike Miyu's warm and expressive nature, Yuusuke is reserved, expressionless, and entirely indifferent to the opinions of others. The two seem to exist at completely opposite ends of the social spectrum, making the very idea of a connection between them feel like an uphill battle. As Miyu wrestles with her own insecurities and self-doubt, the story raises a simple yet compelling question: can someone as anxious about social acceptance as Miyu find the courage to reach out to someone who couldn't care less about it?
