When a devastating viral encephalitis pandemic swept the globe in 1992, the medical breakthroughs born from that crisis gave rise to something extraordinary: "Your Forma," an invasive neural implant that interfaces directly with the human brain. In this transformed society, every experience—from visual memories to raw emotions—is continuously recorded, making it possible to investigate serious crimes by delving deep into a person's accumulated data. The specialists trained to navigate these digital mindscapes are known as "Electronic Investigators." Echika Hieda is one of the most gifted among them, having earned her position at a remarkably young age—yet her extraordinary abilities have left her distanced from those around her. When she is paired with Harold W. Lucraft, a humanoid Amicus with striking blonde hair and blue eyes, an unlikely partnership takes shape.
