The plot of "Spy x Family" mainly revolves around a spy known as "Twilight." He is the best spy in the country and has never failed a mission. However, when tensions escalate between his country Westalis and the neighboring country Ostania, he faces his biggest mission.

With a potential war approaching, Twilight is sent to try to meet one of the men who might declare war and make him back down. The problem is that to get close to that man, Donovan Desmond, he needs backup, and Twilight is on his own.

 

 

Therefore, he quickly forms a family by recruiting an employee named Yor Forger and adopting a little girl named Anya. They work together to get Anya into a prestigious academy, where Donovan Desmond's son is attending, in order to get close to him so they might meet his father.

The problem now for the capable spy known as Twilight and his "family" is that Yor is a secret assassin, and Anya is a mind reader. This makes the family prone to various dangers, including Anya knowing her parents' secrets but not revealing them because she really likes her new family. The fate of both nations now rests in the hands of the Forger family.

"Spy x Family" Season 2 will premiere on October 7.
