"Neon Genesis Evangelion" celebrated its 30th anniversary in October 2025, with official commemorative activities continuing to spark global fan discussions. On December 18, 2025, the official team released shocking news: a brand-new Evangelion 30th Anniversary Short Animation will have its world premiere in February 2026 at the "EVANGELION:30+; 30th ANNIVERSARY OF EVANGELION" event.

This work is personally overseen by the series' original creator Hideaki Anno, who serves as planner, scriptwriter, and chief supervisor, and brings together the luxurious production team from "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time".
