The theatrical version of "The Dangers in My Heart" (The Dangers in My Heart Movie / 劇場版 僕の心のヤバイやつ) has been officially announced! The official announcement confirms the film will be released in Japan on February 13, 2026, along with the reveal of the theme song "Akane" performed by the popular band Yorushika (ヨルシカ) and the latest main trailer.
Adapted from the super-popular school romance manga by Norio Sakurai, with original tankōbon volumes surpassing 6.5 million copies in circulation, this story is set to touch audiences' hearts once again on the big screen.
Yorushika Returns to Perform the Theme Song "Akane"
Following the first season's opening theme "Shayo," Yorushika is once again in charge of the theme song for the theatrical version.
Yorushika's uniquely transparent vocals and literary-infused lyrics perfectly match this work's delicate emotional portrayal. In the latter half of the latest trailer, as the melody of "Akane" begins, subtle progress in the relationship between the protagonists Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada can be seen.

This theatrical version is not a simple recap but a re-edited story from the perspective of the male protagonist, Kyotaro Ichikawa (voiced by Shun Horie).
