Agnes Morteln

Agnes is the Lady of Morteln and the mother of the protagonist Peyis. Once the daughter of the traditional noble house of Baron Detmold, she severed all ties with her birth family after eloping with Caserol. Despite residing in an impoverished frontier domain, she dedicates herself wholeheartedly to protecting her household and cherishes her children deeply. Her youngest son Peyis, who displayed extraordinary abilities from an early age and frequently finds himself entangled in conflict, is a constant source of worry for her.
