Ai is the central character of the 'Our Youth' chapter in the visual novel Crossing Time. A vivacious high school student, she serves as the admired upperclassman to her junior Tomo. The two often share the fleeting moments waiting for trains to pass at a railroad crossing, where Ai engages Tomo with her candid and lightly teasing manner.
