Akihiko Chuuzenji

Set against the backdrop of 1948 Tokyo, Akihiko Chuuzenji serves as a part-time Japanese language instructor at a high school. Solitary by nature and perpetually immersed in books, he possesses an exceptionally sharp capacity for logical reasoning. Whenever strange and inexplicable incidents arise around his students, he approaches each case with an unwavering conviction that nothing in the world is truly mysterious, calmly dismantling the supernatural veneer of each rumor through rational thought and deep scholarly knowledge. He is regarded as the prequel counterpart to 'Kyogokudo,' the central figure of the Hyakumonogatari series.
