Akira Yanagida

In stark contrast to the protagonist Itami, Yanagida approaches every situation through the lens of national interest, treating the Special Region as a geopolitical chessboard. Though his blunt remarks and air of superiority can rub people the wrong way, he remains an indispensable figure behind the scenes, holding the JGSDF's political and bureaucratic framework together.
