The dense array of spikes covering its back serves not only as formidable armor, but also as a specialized sensory system capable of detecting minute vibrations in its surroundings. By processing these subtle tremors, Anguirus can anticipate events several seconds into the future—allowing it to deflect ranged attacks and predict enemy movements with uncanny precision. Introduced early in the story as a primary threat, it clashed ferociously with the Otaki Factory team and Jet Jaguar, demonstrating agility and destructive power that shattered every expectation of what a massive kaiju could be.
