Arata Tsuruki

Known by his true name Arata Usuba, he shares a blood connection with Miyo as her cousin on her mother's side, and wields a formidable ability centered on the manipulation of illusions. Concealing himself behind the facade of a Tsuruki Trading negotiator, he carries the weighty responsibility of safeguarding the continuation of the Usuba bloodline. Initially placing himself in direct opposition to Kiyoka in order to retrieve Miyo, he eventually came to honor her own wishes, shifting his role to that of a guiding mentor who helps her gain command over her supernatural power.
