Aya Mitsuki

Aya Mitsuki is the protagonist of Young Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games. Born into an ordinary household, she enrolls in the ultra-prestigious Kuromi Girls' Academy on a scholarship with the sole determination to leave her gamer past behind and transform into a refined young lady. In truth, however, she has been a hardcore fighting game enthusiast since childhood, to the point of developing distinct calluses on her hands from using arcade sticks. Her plans to fit in as an elegant lady are completely disrupted when she accidentally catches the school's admired idol, Mio Yorue, intensely playing a fighting game in an empty classroom, leading to Mio discovering Aya's own hidden identity as a gamer. Though she strives to maintain a polite and sensible demeanor, once her passion is reignited, Aya unleashes a highly analytical, intensely competitive, and fiery spirit on the virtual battlefield.
