Ayano Shitara

Ayano Shitara is a student at Shinoba High School and the childhood friend of main character Mari Asaka. Harboring a dream of one day becoming a novelist, she tends to be introverted and emotionally sensitive by nature. After losing to the beast-person Taka Tobiu in academic performance, she developed a prejudice against him. However, when Taka recovered the creative notebook she had discarded and offered her sincere encouragement, her resentment faded away, and she grew into a dependable ally who wholeheartedly supports Mari's cross-species relationship.
