Baabu

Baabu is the beloved black cat of protagonist Chihiro Furutani, who tragically lost his life in a traffic accident. Unable to bear the loss, Chihiro used a resurrection potion to bring him back, and Baabu now walks the world as an undead feline. His eyes glow crimson, and he possesses extraordinary strength capable of overpowering a large fox. While generally gentle and well-behaved, his zombie instincts occasionally surface, triggering bursts of aggression. To sustain his revived body, Baabu regularly consumes hydrangea leaves—a plant toxic to ordinary creatures—making him one of the most uniquely captivating characters in the series.
