Baiken is a one-armed, one-eyed female swordsman who survived the devastation of the Holy War. She appears in the anime as a supporting character, maintaining her identity as a survivor of the Japanese people. Blunt and hot-tempered yet deeply bound by her own code of honor, she once devoted herself entirely to exacting revenge upon 'That Man,' the architect of her homeland's destruction. Now she walks the world as a ronin. In battle, she wields a self-developed sword style alongside hidden mechanisms concealed within her prosthetic right arm, embodying an unyielding bushido spirit.
