Barth Welter

Barth Welter serves as a captain within the intelligence division of the Dean Republic's army, tasked with hunting down imperial spies operating covertly within the nation's borders. He maintains a fiercely antagonistic rivalry with Klaus, firmly believing that the military's achievements are routinely overshadowed by the intelligence bureau. During the second season, while pursuing the spy Matilda, he demonstrates remarkable instinct and command ability, yet is ultimately thwarted by the intervention of the girls from 'Lamplight.' He is a career soldier who remains devoted to his country and places great importance on the morale of those under his command.
