Beatrice is an artificial spirit brought into existence by the Witch of Greed, who spent four centuries in solitary vigil within the Forbidden Library, awaiting the one destined to find her. Her long isolation came to an end when Natsuki Subaru reached out to her during the Sanctuary arc, forging a spirit contract that bound them together and welcomed her into Emilia's circle. A master of Yin magic, she projects a cool and prickly exterior, yet beneath that guarded demeanor lies a genuinely warm heart that treasures every bond she has come to hold dear.
