Beni Hanawa

Beni Hanawa is a third-year student at Tankou Middle School whose speech and behavior carry a distinct chuunibyou flair, paired with a deep passion for literature. She first crosses paths with the protagonist, Hikaru, while searching for a legendary book in the school library. Her habit of wearing an eye patch and her solitary nature often led others to mistake her for a ghost, yet beneath that exterior lies a genuinely warm heart. Firmly believing in the healing power of written words, she stands out in the story as an ordinary middle school girl who offers quiet, heartfelt support to those around her.
