Celestine serves as the administrator of the otherworld known as 'Verniy,' revered by its inhabitants as a divine goddess. When an administrator on Earth accidentally took the life of the protagonist Kaoru, Celestine took custody of her soul and granted her special abilities, including potion-making. Warm and approachable yet occasionally clumsy, she accepted Kaoru's wish to become close friends, and the two often share tea together in the divine realm. To Kaoru, she stands as both the most important guardian and the most trusted confidante in the otherworld.
