Chen

Chen is an ordinary inhabitant of the 'Second Kowloon Walled City,' spending his days gathered with fellow residents such as Old Zhou at a cha chaan teng, passing the time over games of mahjong. In truth, however, he is a generic duplicate generated by the city's system, entirely oblivious to his own nature and the reality of the world around him. Regarded as a subject of observation by Sanumasamiyuki, Chen vanishes when his original counterpart from the outside world draws near the city—making him a pivotal case that confirms the impossibility of a duplicate and its original coexisting.
