Chikage Koori stands as one of the original five heroes from the Western Calendar era. A troubled home life combined with prolonged bullying at school shaped her into someone who struggles deeply to trust others—with the sole exception of Yuuna Takashima, toward whom she harbors an unusually strong reliance. As the brutal battles against the Vertex wore on, the inferiority she felt toward her fellow heroes and the mounting psychological strain drove her toward collapse and tragedy, making her one of the most layered and pivotal figures in the Western Calendar arc.
