He fulfills a critical role in the group through his exceptional professional discipline and keen senses, approaching every situation with calm pragmatism while emphasizing proper role division and fair compensation. Motivated by a desire to prevent his fellow halflings from being exploited as cheap labor, he established a mutual aid guild for his kind—making him the most seasoned and grounded voice of reason on the team.
