Cikapasi grew up as an orphan in an Ainu village near Otaru, left to navigate the world alone after losing his family to illness. His bond with Tanigaki Genjirou became the anchor of his journey — looking up to the older man as both a mentor and an elder brother figure. During the Sakhalin arc in the third season, Cikapasi demonstrates a courage far beyond his years, embodying the hunter's spirit passed down through generations. A fateful encounter with a girl named Enonoka on Sakhalin ultimately leads him to put down roots there, building a life and family of his own. Within Golden Kamuy, he stands as a powerful symbol of vitality, renewal, and the continuity of heritage.
