Columbine

Columbine is an ancient platinum-forged automaton spanning centuries of existence, counted among the legendary 'Ancient Four' and celebrated as the trapeze star of the Midnight Circus. Later in the story, she is reborn as a golden-haired Gothic Lolita figure, wielding dominion over swarms of mechanical insects. Through her bond with the young boy Masaru Saiga, something stirs within her clockwork heart—a longing for human love she had never known. To shield him and embrace that fleeting warmth, she meets a spectacular end beneath the moonlight, making her one of the most profoundly transformative characters in the series.
